| Bones moves to Friday Night this fall |
Glee, which was renewed for two more seasons, will be benched in midseason in order to accommodate new drama Rake, starring Greg Kinnear, which will take over the musical-drama’s timeslot on Thursdays at 9 p.m. Fox intends to keep its comedy programming block on Tuesdays, which will see female-skewing comedies New Girl and The Mindy Project staying put at 9 p.m., leading out of new (and much more male-centric) comedies Dads and Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 8 p.m. However, in “late fall,” Bones will move to Fridays at 8 p.m., where it will be joined by a new hour-long Friday night comedy block consisting of returning comedy Raising Hope and new comedy Enlisted.

Question: I know Bones‘ season ended just last week, but you have to have more scoop on the two bonus episodes they shot after the finale, right? —Cassidy
Ausiello: First off, as exec producer Stephen Nathan points out, “They’re not really ‘bonus’ episodes because we know actually where they’re going to go. One will be the second episode of next season, and the other will be fourth.” As reported in last week’s AA, Episode 9.2 is Sweets-centric. Episode 9.4, meanwhile, is a “much more free-standing episode,” notes Nathan. “We worked with [Bones producer] Kathy Reichs and her daughter on that one, and it is going to be a lot of fun. That’s just a great, [classic] episode of Bones.”
Question: Got anything left over from your interview with Bones EP Stephen Nathan? —Rachel
Ausiello: Just this little tidbit on a potential Season 10. In short, Nathan is confident there will be one. “I’m not planning on Season 9 being the last season at this point,” he tells me. “I think there’s a lot more life in the show. It just doesn’t feel old to us.”

| Fox Sets First ‘FanFront’ Event |
Fox is turning the annual dog and pony show — where networks present their 2013-14 lineups to advertisers — into a fan event, announcing its first-ever Fox FanFront.
After the network unveils its fall schedule of new and returning fare, the network will for the first time offer fans what’s being billed as a front-of-the-line pass for an exclusive sneak preview of the new offerings.
The New York event is free to those first to RSVP via email or telephone registration. Those admitted to the Monday, May 13 event will mix and mingle with stars from the network’s yet-to-be-announced new shows as well as returning hits The Following, New Girl, The X Factor, The Mindy Project, Bones, Glee, Raising Hope and American Idol.
In addition to tons of swag, a surprise musical performance is slated for the event. Fans are also encouraged to submit questions for talent at Facebook.com/foxtv and via Twitter at @FoxTV.
The event was created as a way to incorporate fans into the annual industry event in a bid to break through the clutter and expose new programming early to get a jumpstart on building buzz that could make or break a show come the crowed fall schedule.
To RSVP, email FoxRSVP@cegny.com or call (646) 745-1570.
