BONES wooing The Situation for JERSEY SHORE-inspired episode

Bones is jumping on the Jersey Shore bandwagon in a big way. Series creator Hart Hanson confirms to me exclusively that he has approached Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino to guest star in an upcoming episode inspired by the MTV phenom.

“We’re trying to get The Situation to play a murder victim,” Hanson reveals. “A guido is killed and Booth and Brennan enter that world to find out what happens. We’re not sure if it’ll happen or not. Talks are ongoing.”

According to the latest casting intel, The Sitch would play fitness guru Ritchie “The V” Genero in the October episode. The search is on for an actress to costar as Ritchie’s Victoria Gotti-esque mom.

“Bones actually understands them because she considers [guidos] a tribe,” explains David Boreanaz. Adds Emily Deschanel: “Brennan anthropologically studies them and knows the lingo and the behavior. [She's] down with the whole guido stuff.”

Deschanel predicts that the episode will be packed with Jersey Shore references. Laughs the actress: “I guarantee that there will be a fist pump.” [SOURCE]

I was the first to tell you that Bones, in Season 6, will be introducing its third recurring serial killer (after Gormogon and Gravedigger). Now I have exciting new details to share about this baddie. He’ll be a sniper — just like Booth was before he teamed up with Brennan!

“You have to be incredibly cold and calculated to be a sniper,” says Emily Deschanel, who is already mourning the loss of one squintern whom series creator Hart Hanson says will be taken out by the sniper. “I don’t want anyone to die.” [READ THE REST HERE]

The executive producer of Bones has dropped hints about the sixth season premiere.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Stephen Nathan explained that Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will be called back to the Jeffersonian seven months after the finale to help Cam (Tamara Taylor) with a case.

“The first episode begins with Brennan and Booth reuniting with the squints to save the career of one of their own,” he said. “They each bring a new past with them as they forge their old alliances in new ways.”

Meanwhile, reports have suggested that the programme will show Booth fighting in Afghanistan.

David Boreanaz Admits: I Cheated on My Wife
Filed Under: Articles, David Boreanaz • Posted on May 3rd, 2010 by Hayley • 1 Comment

Bones star David Boreanaz is opening up about reports that he has been unfaithful to his wife of nearly nine years, Jaime Bergman.

“Our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities,” the actor admits to PEOPLE. “I just want to be open and honest. I was irresponsible.”

The actor, 40, is coming forward, he says, because a former mistress, whom he declines to name, contacted an attorney and threatened to contact media outlets.

“I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with,” he says. “She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion.”

Now, with the news of his infidelities out in the open, Boreanaz is getting down to the difficult task of salvaging his relationship with his wife.

“We’re working on our marriage,” he says. “We’re working on repairing what has been damaged so badly.” [SOURCE]

Taylor: ‘Bones writers surprise me’

Tamara Taylor has admitted that she has no idea what will happen in the next season of Bones.

Taylor, who plays Cam in the show, told Zap2It that she is “curious” about future episodes.

“The writers are always surprising me,” she said. “It’s interesting, because I don’t know how they’re going to start season six. It’s really sort of curious and interesting.”

She continued: “Wait until you get to the season finale. We flash back… I think we sort of cover a lot of distance between the 100th episode and the finale.”

Speaking about the final episode, Taylor added that Booth (David Boreanaz) will continue to struggle with his health.

“There are interesting hints,” she said. “There are sort of allusions to Booth’s brain tumour. It’s still sort of floating around, so that story hasn’t died. So it’s going to be interesting to see what you think of the finale.”

Taylor explained that the episode has “quirky little silly nods” to the season four finale and suggested that Cam will face “love and loss”.

“Not the loss of love, but you will see,” she said. “There’s not much more I can say. The season finale is going to… it’s going to leave people wondering what happens next.”

Bones continues tonight at 8pm on Fox in the US and Thursdays at 10pm on Sky1 in the UK. [SOURCE]
